For 2025, the Council has extended the Community Pot Grants and welcomes applications for up to £1,000. There will be no public voting, instead applications will be considered by the Town Council, with a view to ensuring that funding is allocated equitably and that any new groups have a fair chance of receiving funding. Groups may make more than one bid, but these must be for separate and quite distinct projects.

About the Community Pot

Denholme Town Council launched the Community Pot in 2015 to allow community groups, charities and volunteer organisations in Denholme to apply for one off grants. Denholme Town Council allocates funds of up to £2500 per Community Pot to support small scale projects in the Town.

Grants have been rewarded to the following groups in previous years:

Denholme Youth Cafe
Denholme Primary School
Denholme New Allotments
Denholme Community Centre
Denholme Ladies
Denholme Scout Group
Denholme Cricket Club

The grants mentioned above were granted in July 2022.
